College Essay on Cause and Effect
College Essay on Cause and EffectA college essay on cause and effect can be a complex topic. With the right writing and academic background, it can be a beautiful thing. It requires that you look closely at the elements of the concept. But even with the knowledge that they exist, many students struggle to incorporate the concepts properly. This often happens because people don't understand that 'cause' is a noun and 'affect' is a verb. So while 'going to college' can be a noun, it cannot be used as a verb. It's a noun, not a verb. It's also important to remember that, just like verbs, there are correct forms and incorrect forms. You can still make your essay about college cause and effect, if you write it correctly. Some examples are below:For instance, when I was asked how I feel about college, I responded with the words I feel like attending. Because this is a subjective statement, I believe it is incorrect to simply respond with 'I feel like going to college.' In this case, you're s tating a fact, not just an opinion. 'I feel like going to college' is a subjective statement. In some cases, such as the cause and effect involved in a murder case, you cannot leave it up to the reader to determine the outcome. You must clearly spell out the victim's name and what type of death it was. It's also important to state what happened in the act of murder and when. All of these are required elements of cause and effect. One last important part of making a college essay on cause and effect is to consider your audience. There are several different types of people who read essays. One group consists of college students who are trying to learn how to use their academic skills in a more logical way.Another group consists of general public who are looking for a fast read on a subject that is often confusing. And yet another group consists of business leaders who need to clearly and concisely explain the reason for their beliefs or actions. And lastly, some may be writers who need to establish facts and formulate ideas. What type of audience you are writing for depends on the essay you are writing. Remember that the key to having success in this area is to come up with a topic that will be understandable by readers. Most importantly, keep the writer focused on the subject at hand.
